New Ship, New Generals - Journal 1
Year 4476, April 22nd
Hello. This is newly appointed Lieutenant General, Ashtan Torre. One of two to command the GWV Star-Flight. I was told keeping logs of the ship owners was tradition, along with keeping the ships name. The previous owner was one General Copper, who from what I have been told was quite the eccentric fellow. A ship named after an old comic he loved as a kid, from what I was told. This Galean War Vessel has been through four wars, and realistically will not be its last.
This ship is now under dual command, something Galean high command thought would allow for smaller but more precise strikes. So as far as I am concerned I am a test ape, how marvelous. We are set to launch in two weeks, we are basically just waiting for some extra cleaning. Lieutenant General Bosque will have to come and log his own intro entry. As of writing I believe he is helping clean out the mess hall and adding all the “Homey” touches he can to the new home of the Corp. As well as all the new troops that will serve under my command. Fifty-thousand are boarding our ship, so we are a rather small Corps. I luckily managed to get multiple close friends to transfer over. I do not think my nerves would withstand it without them.
We will be deployed to the Middle Galean Ring, simple ship inspection, checking for pirates, and helping with any planetary disasters that fall into our need. While rather mundane, I think it will help the new cadets settle in and let us break in this old dog. I will keep regular logs, as sailors keep tradition and while I am not superstitious I am also not one to take bets.
This is Lieutenant General Ashton Torre of the 12th Crimson Corp signing out!

New Ship, New Generals #2
Year 4476, May 7th
Hello! This is Lieutenant General, Gaspar Bosque. The other half of the Star-Flight, here and ready to serve! I will admit I may have forgotten to write my intro, just too much to do. Last thing to do before take off, the flight crew refused to take off before I wrote this.
Three days ago the troops finally arrived, most from basic training. Some as young as sixteen on this vessel, from wherever they came from. Ashtan seems worried but I think we will be able to make some fine soldiers out of these recruits. Colonel Taurus and Hayward have been assigned to help settle the recruits to the ship and ship living. I remember my first time stationed on a vessel, it was military freight. Had to be the most boring experience of my life, endlessly checking shipping crates and double checking manifests. So glad I got transferred to combat engineer, I still can't believe how far I have come.
Well I have probably written enough for now, we really must get going. Taurus is quite the impatient fellow and I don’t think Ashtan wants to wait forever either.
Goodbye for now, this was Lieutenant General Gaspar Bosque.
